How Can A Hedgehog Help With Your Blogging Success?

The chances are that if you’re really involved with your blogging you will search out as much information on the subject as possible.

One of the best ways to get ‘in the zone’ is to connect with successful and consistent online bloggers.

I have to admit that there is a ton of free stuff out there to help learn the skills and perfect the art.  It’s finding the time to study it all that presents a real problem.

So, How can a Hedgehog help with your blogging success?

One of the best known bloggers is Yaro Starak who has partnered with Gideon Shallwick to produce some superb free material; all aimed at encouraging bloggers to develop their skills, while helping them to prosper.

I’ve just had an email from Gideon detailing his latest video blog which talks about the ‘Hedgehog Principle’.

It’s a fascinating video, which I recommend you watch, where Gideon explains the Hedgehog connection.

Essentially it’s about the importance of having your own product and utilizing your skills to become successful online.  To have your own product to make money online is more powerful than acting as an affiliate for others.

Gideon talks about the credibility, authority and exposure that comes from promoting your own products.

Some excellent advice, and all backed up with his free 80 page report ‘Rapid Video Blogging’ which he is about to distribute.

At the same time, make sure to watch Gideon’s video on the same post about how he creates powerful video content - and pick up some valuable tips from a professional.

Well worth a few moments of your time; have a look at Gideon Shallwick’s video blog now.

Recently added is Gideon’s latest video abouth this subject, watch it now:

  • Hey Peter,

That sounds really interesting. I am on Yaros list and stumbled upon him already about a year ago. He is a widely respected pro blogger and a really nice guy too who shares a boatload of great free stuff through his blog. Will definitely check out Gideon´s videos. Thanks for the tip.

P.S. Do you still have the same problem with my blog´s comment area? I got another hint from Janet Chandler today that she was having problems to leave a comment too…I don´t get this really. Janet is from London and so is Bailey Ing. He´s left me a comment and there didn´t seem to have been any problems. If you find the time, hop over to my blog and check out my latest post to see whether the problem still exists.

I have emailed you about your blog comment area; I am still unable to comment.

  • Hello Peter,

      Hello Douglas,

Many thanks for your kind comment.

I must say that now the blog is up and running I do enjoy working it.

With so much to blog about sometimes it’s difficult to decide what!

      Best wishes,

      Peter

  • Peter, thanks for the heads up on this. I have just recently began reading a lot of Yaro has to offer and he offers so much but have not come across Gideon Shallwick.

There is so much to see and do in this online world but in time I hope to catch up with all the greats out there because they do offer some awesome stuff.

Hope that what he teaches you will implement and will become a great success!

      Hi Anna,

Yaro Starak and Gideon Shallwick are a great duo; Yaro likes to write and Gideon loves to do video.

I have found Yaro to be quite inspirational because, similar to Alex, he has succeeded the hard way from a low base, but stuck at it, helping others along the way.

You’re right, there is so much to read, study and implement in the quest that we’ve chosen; that’s what makes it so interesting.

There’s nothing like a challenge either, so as you suggest, I do plan to eventually get out of my comfort zone and start applying some of the things I’ve discovered from the masters.

      Best wishes,

      Peter

  • Hello Peter,

I enjoyed your post and did go and visit Gideon’s blog. I think video blogging is an interesting concept. I hope to add more video to my blog in the coming days although I will have a long way to go to be up to the high quality that someone like Gideon is producing. I find that I learn something new everyday! Thanks for your post!

    Best Regards,
    Alice

      Hello Alice,

Thank you for calling by and for your comment.

Like you, I intend to add video before too long and certainly Gideon is an inspiration.

I look forward to seeing your videos soon!

      Peter

  • Hi Peter,

I’m on Yaro’s list as well. I’ve been on it since I first considered blogging as a part of growing my business.

Now that I’m actually building blogs I’ll be going back over the content as it is more relevant as I can put it into context.

Videos…still uncomfortable with that, though I know it is becoming more popular. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks as they say!

    To your success,

    Lesley
